Surgery Part I

The first part of Susan's surgery was successful, with no cancer found in her lymph nodes (yea!). She is now in the second part of the surgery - setting up for reconstruction - won't be in recovery until mid to late afternoon. Will post again then.

How WONDERFUL!!!! Susan, I have been thinking about you all morning. (Coincidentally, I have a mammogram at 11:30 today.)

Psalm 30:11-12 (New Living Translation)

11 You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.
You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,
12 that I might sing praises to you and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!

As I was reading about Susan's recovery and the wonderful news that there was no additional cancer found, this psalm invaded my thoughts!! I know that even though we have been praying with such great confidence in our Lord to make you whole - what irrepressible joy comes with good news! I love you!
