Resting well...
Hey, everybody! It is great to be home. Lyn is taking great care of me (and Brice would be, too, if he were here!), and I am resting well. I only wake once through the night to take pain medication but then go right back to sleep. We decided to attempt a shower yesterday (I couldn't wait to stand in one!) but from the time we started removing the dressings to the time I got back in the recliner, it was nearly an hour and a half. I was wiped out! Slept for almost two hours after that. But it still felt great! :-) The pain isn't bad - I get more stiff than anything. I get up and walk every now and then (Lyn makes me!), and I have to do breathing exercises. I'm up for visitors anytime, so give me a call! :-)

I am so glad you are doing well. I swear I will make it over next week to check on you. We have had stomach virus here and I do not want to bring any germs to you, so I will wait it out. You sound great! Milk the pampering from Lyn for all it's worth! You are blessed to have each other! See you soon!
Love,
Rhonda
I miss you a lot! I am glad that you are feeling better!

YAY!! So good to hear the progress is going nicely, my dear sister! I thought about you all week and was frustrated I didn't have email access during training. I will be thinking of you this week, and will try to call you to chat for a minute, if you're up to it. Kathleen and I are already plotting as to when we can make a road trip to come see you!
Love ya,
Beth
Susan,
I'm finally learning how to reply to this. Praying for you each day and think of you often. We all miss you and the relay is going great. Hope to see you there as a guest of honor.
Love Cindy E.

I guess you heard we were at your mom & dad's Saturday and we placed a bet in your honor for the Kentucky Derby. Wish you could have been there. We are so glad to hear you are doing so well! Let me know if you need anything!
Love,
Cindy & Cliff
I have no clue if this will find your blog or not. I will act as though it will. So glad to hear all the good news concerning the surgery and the road to your reovery. Keep thinking positive thoughts! You do what the doctor says and keep getting plenty of rest. If Cliff comes to see you, please don't let him in - you will laugh too much and pop a stitch or a draining tube or something. We miss you.
Dave M.
